Description

Practical copperplate printmaking workshop. Put on your gloves and work aprons: you will print an original etching that you can take home with you! This course is open to everyone aged 14 and up. The workshop begins with an introduction to the etching technique, followed by a practical printing demonstration. Afterward, each participant will be given one of our metal plates, which, with our guidance, will be inked and printed using the etching press onto special damp cotton paper. Each participant will actively take part in creating the print, using all the necessary materials: inks, paper, magnesia, and gauze for cleaning—just like in the old workshops of the past. Once completed, the print will be packaged and offered to each participant.

Target audience: Everyone aged 14 and up.
